We are open about where artificial intelligence assists us in creating this website — and where it definitely does not.
Praktijk De Puzzel values transparency. This page explains how we use artificial intelligence (AI) when creating content for this website, in accordance with the European AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Article 50).
Some atmospheric images on this website have been created or edited with the assistance of AI. You can recognize these visuals by the visible AI badge in the corner of the image.
The persons and situations depicted in these images are not real and are purely illustrative. We deliberately make this choice out of respect for the privacy of our young patients: this allows us to showcase therapeutic situations without showing identifiable real children or parents.
Photos without an AI label are genuine photographs: our therapists, our building at Berg 7, our therapy rooms, and the children's artwork on the Heroes Wall. Those images are not created or edited by AI.
We use AI as a tool when writing and editing texts, for example to enhance readability. AI acts as an assistant, never as the author: no text is published on this website without a therapist reviewing and approving the clinical content. Therapeutic information always originates directly from our licensed therapists.
AI is used strictly in creating this website. We never employ AI for evaluating, diagnosing, or treating your child, nor for processing patient health records. Your child's medical file remains exclusively in the hands of your treating therapist — see also our privacy policy.
Ann Huysmans, managing director of Praktijk De Puzzel, bears ultimate responsibility for all content on this website. If you have questions about our use of AI or about a specific image or text, please feel free to contact us.
