Guidance for ASD
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
For a child on the autism spectrum (ASD), the world can sometimes feel like a chaotic collection of scattered puzzle pieces. Our guidance is designed to place those pieces where they belong, restoring clarity, calm, and self-confidence.
Our focus areas

- Psycho-education & 'Who am I?': We help the child understand what autism means for them personally. By discovering their unique strengths and challenges, self-image and self-acceptance grow.
- Structure & organization: We offer practical tools to make daily routines predictable. By bringing order to planning and organization, we reduce underlying anxiety and tension.
- Emotion regulation & coping: We teach children to recognize and name emotions within themselves. Together, we develop effective coping strategies: what can I do when things get overwhelming?
- Managing sensory overload: We map out sensory sensitivities and teach the child (and their environment) how to recognize early signals of overload and build in calming breaks. Learn more about sensory processing in autism.
- Parental guidance: Guiding a child is a shared journey. We offer parents an empathetic ear and concrete tools to translate strategies to the home setting, restoring peace for the whole family.
