Ann Huysmans
Driven by her passion for working with children, Ann Huysmans founded her private practice in 2004, focusing on physical therapy guidance for infants, children, and adolescents.
As an alumna of KU Leuven (Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy), Ann combined her clinical work between September 2007 and June 2010 with a position as a clinical practice assistant at KU Leuven, training university students in pediatric clinical practice.
Driven by her passion for continuing professional development and knowledge sharing, Ann is also co-founder of Education Academy. Together with leading experts, she organizes and teaches practical, evidence-based postgraduate training courses and study days for physiotherapists, healthcare professionals, and educators on topics such as psychomotor therapy, pediatric elastic taping, and sensory processing.
Over the years, Ann has developed deep expertise across multiple pediatric fields, including neuromotor rehabilitation in babies and toddlers. Her approach is characterized by a warm, supportive posture with close parental collaboration at its core.
As managing director of Praktijk De Puzzel, Ann upholds our guiding vision: every child deserves a safe place where they can playfully grow at their own pace.
