Praktijk De Puzzel, founded by Ann Huysmans, has been an established physiotherapy practice in Retie for over 20 years. Today, we are taking the step from a dedicated physiotherapy practice to a multidisciplinary group practice and are actively working on expanding to additional practice location(s) in Retie (2470) and Mol (2400).

Within our practice, we support children and adolescents daily with sensory processing, tension complaints, and developmental questions (such as ASD and ADHD). To complete our care offering in Retie (2470) and Mol (2400), we are looking for a graduated child psychologist.

Job description

• You conduct intake interviews with parents and children/adolescents to clearly map out the care request and family context.
• You provide individual psychological guidance to children and adolescents around emotional regulation, anxiety, performance anxiety, self-image, low mood, behavioral challenges, and neurodiversity (ASD, ADHD).
• You provide parent guidance and psycho-education so parents receive concrete tools for the home environment.
• Depending on your interest and expertise, you may also conduct psychological testing (socio-emotional, intelligence, or attention testing).
• You work closely with our relaxation and pediatric physiotherapists, speech therapists, and external partners (GPs, child psychiatrists, schools, and CLB).

Your profile

• You hold a Master in Clinical Psychology (specialization in children and adolescents).
• You hold the required professional visa to practice and registration with the Commission of Psychologists (or are currently applying for it as a recent graduate).
• Both recent graduates and experienced child psychologists are eligible.
• You work with integrity, maintain a clear overview of your client files, and value interdisciplinary coordination.
• Additional therapy training or willingness to pursue further training is a plus, not a requirement at start-up.
