Praktijk De Puzzel, founded by Ann Huysmans, has been an established physiotherapy practice in Retie for over 20 years. Today, we are taking the step from a dedicated physiotherapy practice to a multidisciplinary group practice and are actively working on expanding to additional practice location(s) in Retie (2470) and Mol (2400).

With the expansion into our group practice and additional practice location(s) in Retie (2470) and Mol (2400), we are also developing a specialized care offering for adult neurological rehabilitation. For this, we are looking for a graduated physiotherapist with a specialization or strong affinity in neuro-rehabilitation.

Job description

• You are responsible for the intake, functional testing, treatment planning, and rehabilitation of adult patients with central or peripheral neurological conditions (such as stroke/CVA, acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, or polyneuropathy).
• You work in a goal-oriented and functional manner on gait rehabilitation, balance, fall prevention, tone regulation, arm-hand function, and overall independence.
• You actively involve the patient and family caregivers in the rehabilitation process and provide targeted exercise and movement advice.
• You ensure accurate follow-up of patient records and report to referring neurologists, rehabilitation physicians, and GPs.
• You actively contribute to the further development and set-up of the adult neurological rehabilitation department within our practice.

Your profile

• You hold a Master in Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy, preferably with a specialization in internal or neurological conditions / neurological rehabilitation.
• You hold a professional visa and RIZIV/INAMI number (or are currently applying for one as a recent graduate).
• Both recent graduates and physiotherapists with experience in neuro-rehabilitation (e.g., Bobath or other relevant postgraduate training) are welcome.
• You work in an evidence-based, patient, and result-oriented manner, with attention to the personal goals of the patient.
• You are interested in helping shape this adult rehabilitation pillar within a growing group practice.
